Hey guys.

I've currently bought a standard VCI-400, I'm fully aware it's a fully customizable piece of kit, however, I'm wanting to purchase a Kontrol X1.

I love the effective functionality the X1 provides, I played around with my mate's one time.

I've never used a VCI-400 & am fully excited to get my hands dirty.

My questions now are...

Is it worth getting the X1?
Using the VCI-400 alongside the X1... Opinions & thoughts?

Thanks in advance people!

I found a really good deal on the xone DB2....

but after asking, they told me this deal is while supply last.

So I'm wondering if Allen & Heath will disontinued this model or if it's only the shop that want to move their stock out...

Anyone heard something?

This is a really good deal but Not sure I want to buy something that will be replaced in the next months (by probably something better)

Thanks for your input!

X/y pad on Korg NanoPad into 2 potentiometers?

Hey guys.

I was wondering if anyone has ever modded their nano pad by adding some pots to it. I primarily use Serato which makes the x/y pad pretty much useless. I opened up my nano pad today and examined the x/y pad and came up with a few questions to ask you guys before I purchase zif cables and start soldering.

Is an x/y pad equivalent to a joystick where it is ran by two potentiometers?

looking at the x/y pad, the front has two strips. One vertical and one horizontal. The back of the pad has two vertical lines ... which may be power and ground?

You guys think it's possible to connect the front vertical and horizontal line/leads to the middle pin of a Pot, (pardon my ignorance of electronics jargon ) and the back vertical lines/leads to power and ground of the pot?

Thanks in advance everyone!

Really smooth, FX sound fantastic, loving the eq's and filters. I know there's some X1600 owners on here, any x1700 owners?

Hi there! Well, I've been looking to buy a 4-Channel Mixer lately and the one that surprised me was the Behringer NOX606 (I know, I know, Behringer uses to be shit). It has 4-EQs, two mics, FXs... There are a few questions I had about it:

1. How does the USB soundcard work? Can you run each channel of your software like Traktor into each channel on the NOX606 or you can only output the sound from the computer to one channel?
2. Can you hook an effects module? like the Kaoss pad 3 or the RMX1000 :D
3. Is the 4-band EQ very different than the 3-band EQ? I've seen it in the Allen & Heath's ones and people say it's awesome, but in a Behringer Mixer? whatever.
4. If you had to chose between the Behringer NOX606 and the American Audio 14MXR, which one would you pick? I saw the American Audio for 250€ and the Behringer for 270€ or 330€ (prices always change).

Thanks a lot guys! :D
