hey would you know who to map the midi fighter pro for nothing but effects? using the faders and knobs as perimeters and the buttons selecting and activating those effects. i am having trouble finding a tsi that works like that and have some confusion doing the mapping myself, thanks

I notice that you are the MASTER of mapping and I was reading your forum on mapping the Pioneer DDJ S1 for Traktor. I am using a DDJ S1 and would LOVE for it to be mapped. I was wondering if anything ever became of that project in that forum, and if there is anything that I could do to help? You probably get a lot of messages so thank you for reading this message if you get to this point haha

Hey Stewe,
First of all, you seem to be doing a good job helping people out with mapping problems they face, so good job!
I seem to be having an issue and would appreciate your thoughts. Till now I've been using Traktor Kontrol S4, which has a knob that's very useful to me. If you have an idea of S4 layout, it's the left knob above the 4 hot cue buttons. When this knob is not in "loop" mode, it simply moves the track precisely 1,2,4 (etc) bars forward or backwards. So if you're using grid lines and Sync to mix tracks it's quite useful.
Now I switched to Pioneer DDJ-SX, but found Serato software to be a piece of sh*t (☺), so I'm using Viper's mapping for Traktor. Problem is, I have no idea whether that particular knob has somehow been mapped. Do you by any chance have idea? Alternatively, could you help me map it somehow?

I loved what you did with your Isolate mapping on your Livid CNTRL:R and I am trying to replicate it onto my Kontrol X1. The big question I have is what is happening when you turn the knobs in the Isolate section of your livid. I know that it kills the eq for the focused deck on that EQ band and turns off the EQ kill for the appropriate band on deck D, but what additional functions happen as the knob passes the 12:00 mark? Are you using one effects bank only to operate the Iso FX or are there multiple banks being used for each EQ band?

P.S. I'm relatively new to MIDI mapping, I understand the concepts, but may just not be aware of the full potential allowed with custom mapping in Traktor.

imma try and do it...the main reason why they are so cool is because i run my turntable thru the boss-rc-300 loop pedal that also has built in analog effects.so the turntable plus the new effects are really cool inna abstract kinda way,which i really like...kinda pink floyd ish turntablism.the main ones i like are laser-slicer,grannuphase,bass-o-matic,event horizon and strretch-slow.the rest are as you said,just combos.but remember that i am also using a real pedal,so in conjunction,they are a bit different than stock cuz i use the pedals parameters after the traktor ones,for a fuller range atta higher bit-rate.i will make a video soon and send it.lotsa people i know wanna hear them after i showed them on the phone how cool they are for kutting.
man,if you could send me the tsi file and show me where to put it,that would be great if you have time.im running around like a chicken trying to get things ready,if not,no problem.
