  1. It being a while since I write anything but I'm always in here doing some reading and learning from every one that ask or answer any question. Well I having hooked to NI, it is all I have and all I use so far since I desire to invest money in DJ equipment. Here is my list about what I have: I own the Kontrol S4, Two F1 and Mikro Maschine. I use a Sony Vaio with Traktor scratch Pro 2. I do have Ableton software 9 also but have not get into learning much about how to use it. I'm looking for advise here, I have to send my Kontrol S4 to fix So I would like to take this opportunity to either test out or branch out to other software and DJ equipment. I consider the idea of getting a Mixer so I can move out from the all in one controller. I also thought about getting a different software and all in one controller such as the Numar NS7fx or the DDJ SX just to mention a bit of what I was thinking. So let me know what you think so I can use it to make a decision. Thank you.
  2. Question for my DJTT compadres here. I'm actually a guy with no previous knowledge about music in general just a person who enjoy the way music is played at the clubs and that love to play around with music equipment but I guess I got into this a bit late maybe since I got a house full of kids now that is. Well enough about me, the question is the fallowing: Are akai Midi controller like the "MPK61" basically the same as using a "Push" which is the new controller Ableton will be releasing. I like the idea of play with the "MPK" because I feel comfortable playing the Midi as a Piano (keyboard) or using the "Push" will provide more control to operating the Ableton software. Let me know what you think. Thanks
  3. Hey DJTT community and back with another question which I hope do not put you to sleep. So is it worthy to get a laptop with a 17'' display rather than 15" or the size of the screen will not really allow you to see more session of your DJ software. Will the software just zoom out instead of allowing to view more of it.
  4. Hey, what's good DJTT community!! question for you? what is the best CDJ out in the market which mapping will work best with Traktor Pro 2 software. I have the S4 and a Maschine Mikro on my set up but I'm looking to branch out to build disaster recovery option for live performance gig. Plus I'm not much of a scratcher but I would love that the CDJ is as good as Turntable are at scratching goes. Please let me know what you think. Just DJing for the last 3 years.
