Your soul wants deep house; your body needs the funk

The funk is what got me into house. Those 70s-influenced basslines with that disco soul. I eventually got into other subgenres like deep and tech. But I always come back to the funk. With this mix, I tried capturing that evolution I went through. From funk, to tech, to deep, and then coming back to what I love best. It clocks in at about 1:15, and I tried keeping it all tracks from the past year or so, so it's pretty fresh. Enjoy :cool:
