...so does anyone know how the autofilter (that Ean is so proud of) in the MIDIFIGHTER deckalized mapping works, off the top of their heads?
If not, no worries, I'll load up the .tsi

i'm going to guess that the 'auto repeat' box was checked in the mapping?
or depending on which filter it is, i think the formant one has a curve to it. so maybe the button sets the parameters and the filter naturally sweeps to the curve that has been set?
Hmmm, interesting. Thinking about your first example using auto repeat, you could use modifiers to sweep any button that has 'inc' and 'dec' functions up and down a modifer range (0-7 for one modifier or 0-55 for two modifiers).
Only trouble is, your sweep would be a slave to the auto repeat rate. Interesting nonetheless.
something i've considered with mods/effects is a button that does the following;
action / condition
mod x > 1 / mod x = 0
mod x > 2 / mod x = 1
mod x > 3 / mod x = 2
....
mod x > 0 / mod x = 7
so it rotates through the conditions, back round to 0 and carries on again. and on the same button have some parameters linked to these conditions. so you could change or turn different parameters on/off based on each condition as you cycle through.
Sweet!
not tried it yet, but in theory...
