I am a controllerist thatis not familliar with ableton. (i run traktor pro 2.5). I feel that it is time for me to explore the whole other world of music production. Moombahcore specifically. I am posting this thread to figure out what software/external controller(s) comination would be a good setup for me. I am aware there is no way of technically knowing what would suit me personally but any input at all would help.
(I am looking for a it to be a studio setup rather than a live setup)
Do you have an F1 yet? That might be a nice transition to more loop-triggering stuff. Easier to incorporate to your Traktor 2.5 setup than Ableton Live.
yeah i do happen to have an f1. I am looking to create more of a studio use than for live setup though.

You could play with routing traktor through ableton(which i think is really frikin awesome). Then you could sort of bridge the gap between production and DJ'ing gradually.
