I vote for "The Omnious Black Shape".
Here in Germany itīs called Nibbler, a kind of scissor to cut out sheet metal.You drill a hole in the corner or slightly away from it inside the marked form ón the metal and cut it out.Itīs also available as a air powered tool.Got one in my garage to cut sheet metal for repair parts when restoring fenders, doors and floor pans.
One problem is the quality, the cheapo one cracked the first time i wanted to cut something.Just like with turntables, midi controllers audio sound cards...

Right so the idea must be to score the metal using the nibbler then bend it... this will all make sense soon enough :p
