Hard to believe it was an accident.
Guys, let's have a little respect eh? Allegedly shot his girlfriend, he hasn't been found guilty yet. And this is hardly a topic for general discussion.
I've met Oscar, and yes, he seemed like a nice enough guy, albeit a 'niceness' heavily steeped in blatant agression and arrogance. There isn't a South African that was somewhat surprised at his outbursts after being beaten fairly & squarely in London. Taking an overseas reporter that was interviewing him to a shooting range to see his gun collection, somewhat erodes the respect that I had developed for him. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, and have not declared him guilty until proven so. However, he has of late not shown himself to be the national hero I thought he was. Being an internationally recognised athlete unfortunately makes you fair game for discussion on all forums. Our president gave his annual State Of The Nation Address at the opening of parliament on Thursday. More people watched Oscar's drama unfolding than the SONA - go figure.
he is out on bail at the moment.
a murder suspect gets bail? sounds like some serious fuckery there ..
and for cheap too!

The court set bail at 1m rand (£73,000) and postponed the case until 4 June, leaving Pistorius's life and career in an agonising limbo. The 26-year-old left the courthouse in a silver Land Rover, sitting in the rear, tailed by a motorcycle with a TV cameraman aboard. A media bidding war for the first interview is predicted.
Looks like another OJ...
