I'm not sure about the new site, but on the old site there was a link to redeem gift cards on the home page and you didn't enter them on checkout.
Wow, now it worked, went to the old site and followed your instructions and bang, $10 added. So now I have to thank both Jester and photojojo :D (deleted my previous post too so no-one gets confused)
I used my $10 voucher last night on the new site and entered it in during checkout and it worked.
