APC40 Mapping Traktor Question.

Hey guys, I'm very new to this controller midi mapping stuff and have a question about how i can map what i want...

SO i basically want to map the bottom right 8 knobs and buttons in a certain way... i want to make the top and bottom 4 buttons toggle decks A-D (ie: button 1=deck a, 2=b, 3=c, 4=d) and have them make the knobs be able to go to the High Mids and Lows.

So when i hit Button 1 on the 1st row of buttons i want the 1st 4 of knobs to be deck A's EQ and when i hit button 4 on the bottom row of buttons I want it to be deck D's EQ on the bottom 4 knobs... I know its probably a bit more advanced for the very little experience i have but im eager to really get into deep mapping.

This is how your deck selector button mod should look.

Button 1
Add in modifier #1
Type of controller - Button
Interaction mode - Direct
Set to value - 1
Add out modifier #1
Controller range - 1 to 1

Button 2
Add in modifier #1
Type of controller - Button
Interaction mode - Direct
Set to value - 2
Controller range - 2 to 2

Button3
Add in modifier #1
Type of controller - Button
Interaction mode - Direct
Set to value - 3
Controller range - 3 to 3

Button 4
Add in modifier #1
Type of controller - Button
Interaction mode - Direct
Set to value - 4
Controller range - 4 to 4

heres where the problem is... if i do that then i can only select 1 deck at a time... i want to be able to press the button once and be able to start eq-ing on the channel im currently playing and the channel i select... i dont know if im just doing it wrong or if thats the wrong mod setup...
