There doesn't seem to be a way to do this on the 900. The 2000 on the other hand has the touchpad which can be used to select longer loops.
64 bar loops are the max on the CDs 2000 right?
The touchpad goes up to 32, but I think there's no restriction on manual loops.
I've noticed at times that even with the quantized feature on, sometimes when I loop using the loop in/loop out it sounds off. What gives?
Have you checked your waveforms/beatgrids in Rekordbox carefully? It's not as accurate as Traktor and often gets BPM and grid alignment wrong.
Honestly, I don't do anything with my tracks in RB once they're imported.
Then that's why the beat grids are off.
The shortcut for extending/cutting loops on CDJ's is holding Loop Out and hitting Next Track, IIRC. I might have to recheck the tome of arcane secrets (the manual), I havent done it in a while. Make an 8 beat auto loop, and hit that combination a few times until it doubles to what length you want.
