Slice/Echo buttons not working (VCI-100SE 4.1 Traktor 2 version)

So I decided to boot up my old vci-100 se on traktor 2 (version 2.0.3) and load up the 4.1 version mapping. All of the buttons are responding, except the slice and echo auto jog wheel effects are not working. Traktor 2 shows that those buttons are sending data, but nothing is happening fx wise when those buttons are pressed. Everything else seems to be working.

It has been a really long time since I've used this controller set up and there's very poor documentation on the internet, so I am wondering if I am missing something obvious. I tried searching for a while before posting.

Update:
Fixed by clicking the big main import button instead of the one in the controller editor (of course). *facepalm* However, the Slice Echo effects work better in the 4.0 version and the 4.1 version of the echo isn't very good IMO I discovered.
