Traktor Pro 2 Problem
Is it just me or has this happened to anyone else?
Yesterday after installing Traktor Pro 2, I noticed that if I open the preferences box while a track is loaded, playing or not playing, Traktor will freeze. If I have a track playing, it will continue, however, the "Output Routing" switches from "External" to "Internal". But I can't control anything nor can I get the "Output Routing" to switch back to "Internal"
When this first happened, I had to Ctrl+Alt+Delete in order to shut Traktor down. The last time it happened, Traktor went back to normal on it's own.
I like Traktor 2.0, but If I can't figure this out, I'll have to stick with Traktor Pro 1.2.7.
Any thoughts?

Trash your preferences file.

Elaborate please?
Where exactly do I find the preference file?
-
Documents & Settings/User/Documents/Native Instruments/Traktor 2.0.X

I solved my problem. I just finished a stress test (all four decks playing looped track and effects
going while opening and closing the Preferences box) and NO problems!
What I did was to clompletely uninstall Traktor Pro 2 (I didn't touch Traktor Pro 1.2.7) and then deleted all of the Traktor
Pro 2 folders. Reinstalled Traktor Pro 2, only this time, I didn't allow Traktor to import my settings from TP 1.2.7.
Scanned all of my music folders, shut down Traktor to save my preferences.
Whew!
I just did a five hour set on friday and TP 2.03 gave me NO problems!
Now I'm a happy camper!
padi 04, thanks for the advice ! :D
