true. haha. Too many drunken parties. Although the hdj-2000's have been bomb proof for me so far, going 3 years on those and not a scratch. But for 77 bucks the sony's are money.
Always liked the Sony cans (especially the 700's), but the coating on the ear pads always wears away or cracks for me. Are they using fabric now?
You can always replace the pads. I purchased some really nice velour ones. Not so great for sweaty djing but nice for chilling at home. Replacement pads range from 5$ - 20$ and are easily found on the interwebs.Quote:

How does this compare to the Pioneer HDJ-1500s? I've got a pair but if they are on par or superior I am always looking to get a back up pair.
