Im not too sure about that. I used the work around on a 750mk2 a little more than a month ago and it worked just fine.
How about if you never plan to expand further than two players? Would the 450 still be a good choice?
Sorry for the bump, but it's worth noting that the following mixers are now Traktor Scratch certified in Traktor 2.11.3, which is currently in public beta:
- DJM-250 MK2
- DJM-450
- DJM-750
- DJM-750 MK2
- DJM-TOUR1
They claim that they are starting up again. The release notes for 2.11.3 are also quite substantial, although mostly for CDJ/DJM users:
- Large moving waveform on the CDJ-2000NXS2 in HID
- Color waveforms on the CDJ-2000NXS2 in HID
- Both phase meters work on the CDJ-2000NXS2 in HID
They also claim the XDJ-1000MK2 is high on their list to get HID support. Time will tell...
