Im thinking of purchasing a ableton push but doing my research multiple sources say that the push 3 will be our later on this year. How soon is it coming? Wait or buy?

It took them 3 years to replace the original, which means the 2 has at least another year worth of life.
Does the current one have any shortcomings that are preventing you from grabbing it? If it's nothing mayor then I'll say go for it, else you'll be endlessly waiting for "the next thing".
I really really doubt there's a new Push coming until a while after Ableton 10 is out, which hasn't even hit open beta yet.Quote:

I bought a Push 2 just a few months ago, I don't regret it, but if I didn't have one currently I would have waited til Live 10 to comes out to see what happens.
10 will bring some nice improvements to the push 2, don't think they will be replacing it anytime soon...
Hah, funny how they announce 10 the very same day I comment it is "probably coming out very soon". Either way, they didn't announce a Push 3, but some good upgrades for the Push 2 so you are good to go.
I bought mine (a used push 1) in Dec.17
Love it.
