100 Tracks a week is overkill in my opinion, is there really that much good stuff coming out each week.
Now I don't buy digital, but if I did, I wouldnt be buying that much a week.
Vinyl wise I probably buy between 15-25 records a month sometimes less, which equates to maybe 60-100 tracks if there all had 4 tracks on which to be honest most have 2/3. Which means I actually have plenty of time to play listen and learn my music.
Don't go buying anything, curate a library of the best, cut the crap. And learn it all.
^Great advice.
100 Tracks a week is far too many for me. If I was able to find 10 a week I'd be overjoyed.
But I can go for weeks (months if I'm busy) without adding genuine library (read: KEEPERS) tracks.
Especially true when adding in shipping costs, which just added $40 to my purchase at juno. But, they had five slabs that were on my want list. Plus, they're having a crazy sale on a lot of stuff, making the international shipping um...more swallowable. (not a word, I know)
1 track per cd, bring an extra case along or have room in the back of your case to put your cds in after you played them, that way you'll be able to know what tracks you played and have them in the order you played them.
