I am looking into getting a MIDI enabled mixer. I have my eye on the DDM4000, but was wondering what are some other mixers, besides the DJM models, that are MIDI enabled.
Thanks.

American audio mxr-14 is solid if you don't need the effects - and has a built in sound card.
Okay, I'll take a look at that. I'll prob map some knobs on my MPK Mini, with effects in Traktor, I just need a solid MIDI enabled mixer, that won't break my wallet (Nothing above $500.)
My ideal setup is going to be
MIDI Enabled Mixer (As main mixer) --> MPK Mini (Effects, Looping, Sample Triggering, Pitch Bending, Cue/Play.)
I wish I bought a korg zero4 or zero8 when they were out. ...Beasts
Why not just get an audio interface and a midi controller? Like the tweaker or novation zero sl
Denon DNX1600 or 1700 ...
The DDM4000 was beast when it first came out, but the build quality leaves a lot to be desired and honestly feels like a toy compared to a more modern midi capable mixer. Also only one output audio channel so you would need a soundcard.
Our DNX1600 is bulletproof, has a 4 channel 96K soundcard, traktor certified, about 80% of the surface can be mapped, you can run audio and midi though the same channel, matrix inputs, etc etc :) ... i am a bit biased
The Denon DN-X 1600´s go for 500 - 600 on Ebay here in Germany. Thats pretty close to your limit. You should also check out some used Korg Zero´s. I shot a Zero 8 für 400 Euros but have to replace the touchpad and one fader pcb. The spares cost me 100 Euros.
