Nope, the direct just work for for the first 8. Names will be displayed in the Cue tab.

you could do that or use the midi clock from traktor which seems more stable than the beat phase. on mac its very stable anyway - not so good on windows. you could certainly map any midi commands, sequenced or otherwise, from any midi trigger/input using midimasher.
the max 8 midi mapped hot cue's is a bit of a bugger in traktor and the delay when stacking too many beatjumps is noticeable - with delays that traktor needs to be added in.
mixxx has an unlimited number of hotcues available tho - so you could map as many as you need. also the quantize modes are now much better than they used to be. so is bpm detection and beatgrids.
also in theory i think an unlimited number of decks - tho i think there's some issues there with the new multi coloured waveforms and no skins yet anyway.
the four sample decks in mixxx can be pretty much used like full decks though.
