XLR outputs truly are the standard. If they're expecting people to replace club mixers with this they should have really included main XLR outputs and 1/4" booth outputs. I can forgive them for dropping the rec output, because obviously you can just record internally on Traktor.
From what I've heard. There will be XLR and RCA main outs, TRS Booth outs, 2 USB in (Hub), 1 USB out, Line and phono A, Line and Phono B, two ground posts, RCA AUX in, and 1/4" Mic in. Oh....and a kennsington lock. We'll see if I'm right

Cheers that would perfect. if I'm spinning a gig, and I really don't want to use my computer I would only really use 2 decks. On the other hand, I usually spin with traktor, and in such cases the new mixer would definitely allow me a 4 channel functionality in that regard. After owning a traktor certified 4ch mixer, I'm not really sure if I need those two extra full channels.

Thanks for the info nestaselect. Although I would like to test the EQs nad faders/filtre before I go on a selling rampage.

I hope this means that they will be implementing remix deck control via the maschine mk2 with this update.

Didn't NI already say that future versions would allow MIDI mapping of all remix decks?

Well, it looks like the info on it is live now:
    http://www.native-instruments.com/z2-dj-mixer
plus a nie video of Ean Golden:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFumW...ature=youtu.be

$899 is not as bad as I thought, but not as good as I had hoped...

Could you give us some info or clear up rumors? Page is down right now because of heavy traffic.

    Thanks

$899's on the high end, probably more than I'm willing to pay when I could get a second-hand DJM800 for the same price. But with a 20% discount it's closer to $700, which is a liiitle more reasonable.

    Page is here now:
    http://www.native-instruments.com/#/...or-kontrol-z2/

Seems as though my suspicions were correct with it aimed at Turntablists and Controllerism. Included timecode vinyl and cd's. Also the example setups from the site do not show a 4 deck setup example (emphasis on 2 other channels for the remix decks.
Also, not sure if it will be as stated the standard in club mixers. A percentage of DJ's including myself use, and prefer 4 channels, as
in 4 physical faders. Maybe in a few months there will be one hinted at.
