I can't see an on screen picture of the Traktor FX knobs dude?
Dubfire effect
Group mode: Delay / d/w - 0.400 / par - 0.700 (unit 1)
Single mode: Delay T3 / d/w - 0.450 / par1 - 0.800 / par2 - 0.780 / par3 - 1.000 / button 2,3 - 0ff (unit 2)
FX ON button activate both at same time, just make sure to set both for interaction hold!
Okay ive had a little play about and ive kinda ot both Dubfire's and Hawtins effect, both with the delay!
Obviously gotta just play about more..
But tell me, when dubfire uses this effect at the 1:00 mark on the vid i posted, is he just applying that effect over the track he is playing, or? because it ALWAYS sounds the same when he does it, so im thinking that hes somehow got a sample saved with that effect and he just triggers it or... Because how can every track give off the same sound effect with it?
Just got a little confused!
Just drop it on hi hats and it should sound the same for each track. Eventually you can associate it to sample to trigger it anytime![]()
Ah, so dubfire more than likely has 1 traktor deck dedicated to just this effect, like constantly running a looped hi hat?
I can only use 2 of my traktor decksneed to use all 4 tbh... new mixer needed..
And really? so you can actually just hit and FX button on the X1 and it'll always trigger that same sample and let off the same sound?
Dunno. But that can be one of possibilities.
Yes. There is a retrigger command under remix deck drop menu which can cause any of sample slots to play momentary as long as that slot is in one-shot mode. And really? so you can actually just hit and FX button on the X1 and it'll always trigger that same sample and let off the same sound?
Sick vid Stewe! You're always putting good stuff together man. I've been getting the Hawtin effect mapped w/ tape delay & dealy both in advanced mode over the past few days. I did so many commands to make it work on my XoneK2, it's to hard to post. Instead I pasted the Hawtin Effect MIDI commands in a .tsi file --->Hawtin Effect.tsi
Along w/ a photo so people could see where they are mapped.

Stewe, do you mind sharing the .tsi file for your Livid CNTRLr just isolaating the (2) buttons & (1) fader you use w/ any mods for the Dub Fire effect? That may be an easy way to share the info without having to re-write everything in a post? Thx bro.
I didn't save this tsi mate, I made it just for video purpose and it's pretty simple to achieve so I haven't include mapping file in first place.
1st button: Triggers T3 delay (single) and reverb+delay (group) - hold type button. This combo use two units!
2nd button: Rete button for T3 delay in single mode.
Fader: Rate parameter for T3 delay.
I know for Tape delay in single FX mode and how it speed up and down the rate in similar way that Richie uses it but you need to freeze it first right?
I'm pretty sure he's not freezing any of tracks when dropping that effect in his sets. I'll look for replicate this but ether of delays in traktor simply doesn't sound that organic without adding some other effect in combination.
It takes a workaround inverting "Unit On". Use freeze while D/W is at 0% to capture the effect. And so the track doesn't freeze. Increase D/W to bring in the R. Hawtin effect over the track, while increasing Knob 3 to speed it up. Check this out: Hawtin Effect Audio Clip
In this clip I slowly bring in the Hawtin effect during the breakdown. And increase up until the drop. Then hit the delay button just before the drop for the slight pause.
I'm still trying to mess w/ the parameters to get the best sound. I couldn't do a vid w/ good sound so I just recorded this out of Traktor.
Also, I'm gonna try to figure out the Dub Fire effect next. Thanks for your help bro, appreciate being able to collaborate w/ someone like you.
