    Did you read the article? It explains why they would want to recreate that loudness. It's like insurance for an activity that costs into the hundreds of millions of dollars. Seems like money well spent to me.

    I did read the article. I can see it simulates the roar of a rocket launch. What point is it proving? Apart from it simulates the roar of a rocket launch.
