    Clean mixing, good track selection
#2 is rocking, samples, bassline, snare, yumm
#4 love the vocals, great filtering on them
    #5 pleasant vocals
#6 great use of next episode sample
#7 love the synths on this one

The whole mix has a nice united vibe to it, I enjoyed listening through the whole thing.

    Criticisms:
4:13 hurt my ears, sneaky glitch that one :P
6 to 7, the beats were a bit collapsing, but it was fixed quickly, I know I am still struggling with that sometimes

    hey Snap
just checked it out. Ya'know... its actually not that bad. Nice work.
Doesnt seem like something yo just threw together so in that i have to say
    no construction and programming
also, mixing is sounding pretty good. Its obvious you didnt use any beat sync or auto-beatmatching tools (kudos for that one)
honestly the style is a bit slow for me but i made my way through it anyway.

from a producers point of view (and i do this all the time because of my several years of studio experiance)
you need to work a bit on recognizing your EQ settings.
It sounds like you have your mid and hi at 0
and your bass turned ever so slightly up higher then the other two.

Dont be afraid to let us hear the top end of the sound

Actually, all recorded tracks that you play are already equ'ed for final use (mastered)
You should really be setting your mixers eq's to 0 at all times (unless you are in the middle of a blend)
If its music you are playing, then dont turn UP either of the eq's
you should instead be turning DOWN the ones you dont need.

Only if you are doing voice recordings or sound sample recordings is when you should be turning your eq's higher than 0.

Yes i know. Youre going to realize that when you turn them down, you have less volume.
Correct..... thats why you turn up your output.

Thank you very much my friend too for your comments.

As far as EQing is concerned, i never get any of it higher than zero!!
In fact, i just start with Hi and Mid always at zero and Bass at a lower level in order to blend it with the other track, and then swap the Bass volumes of the two tracks..
Maybe you are not used to the heavy Bass of the deep house music and it seems so extreme to you

Anyway, thanks again and i have one question for you. As you said, you are a producer. Can you recommend me a good online tutorial about mastering??

i got my tutorial from going to school for it and spending many years getting it right and wrong lol
best one is just keep trying
because as with anything else audio production, there is no true form step by step
you have to know how your equipment, plugins, DAW, and sources all react with eachother.

    http://www.remix64.com/faq_tut_digital_mastering.html
Seems to be the best one i can find for you on an amateur level.
It talks of the different components and how to manipulate them but
you can try it out if you want to, however
you should REALLY leave as much detail of your components that you are using as possible

What kind of EQ being used.
Compressor settings compared to the music you generate
    and the list goes on

What are you using for production?

    Thanks for the tips.
I currently use Fl Studio 10 and try to make some deep house sounds.
I'm really interested in producing my own music, so mastering will be a critical aspect of my efforts

Apparently, we can't satisfy everyone with our choices and our taste
