theres a (i think) hip hop song from the mid to late 90s or early 2000s

part of the hook is: killing me softly with his song
its a females voice, then theres a string instrument that plays 4 notes (sounds like a sitar, but not exactly) and then the beat comes in and the rest is fuzzy.

as a big dnb fan, ready or not by hype or zinc (ive seen both credited) i recognized this sample right away (odd wording, but im saying that this song was sampled by hype/zinc)
