You're opening for Hardwell with your own gear? Is he going to use your decks too? I don't get it.

As far as money goes, charge enough not to be disappointed that you left the house, but not so much that you feel guilty / under pressure to perform.

Think how much it's worth to you, then how much you feel the event values you at, and go from there.

I'm getting the vibe that there really is no "fixed rate" and that there's just a lot that goes into it.

My time is minimum $75 an hour with that said a 10-3 gig with 2 15s and sub plus lighting rig I charge roughly $400 without use of mics $700 with 4 mics and option to add more to soundboard. I'm currently looking at adding some pk sound speakers to my rig and likely would bring my charge for not close friends to over $1000 for 5 hours

Also important to take into account how much profit is being made by you providing the service this is very important when I first started I charged $300 and they made $9000 in liqour sales so felt like I shorted myself but was a first ry

    Ha, that's fair. It's for a college dorm's carnival.
I wasn't aware that Hardwell was headlining at a college dorm!
