You haven't really warped those tracks - just set the start point (1.1) and the average/mean tempo. That works for SOME house style racks (with a basic 4/4 kick drum) but WON'T work for most other types of music, or music ripped from vinyl.

Try warping a breakbeat tune that has been ripped from vinyl and see if it's that easy...
    DJ'ing: 2x1200MK2, DJM 850, Dicers, F1, Zomo MC-1000, Sony MDR-v700, i7 Win 10 HP Envy
Production: Ableton Live 8 and a mouse, Sennheiser HD400, Sony VAIO

Damn xD i suppose that 99% of dj today are using music produced with a PC or DAW and not ripped from vinyl, if you want vinyl i don't think you are going to use Ableton Live, maybe you're going to use two vinyl decks!

If you want to play Mozart or Giuseppe Verdi or heavy metal i think you can have some problem with my technique also, but if this is so you're better to buy a Piano and not Live xD
if you're going to use modern music (99.99% of the music you listen at disco, party, festival, night club is made with DAW) you'll definetely use this tecnhique because it's fast and precise, you don't need to put a lot of warp markers in ableton you REALLY need ONLY ONE! believe me it's the best way!

By the way this is the "Traktor way" of warping tracks (:

Hey - if it works for you, great.

But I'm not so sure about your 99% of tracks statement. Even tunes made in DAWs will drift slightly - and then you'll need additional warp markers.

But it's NOT warping - it is JUST time-stretching a tune to an average BPM. 2 completely different things.

If you warp a track properly (ANY track) you can create a loop at ANY point in the track and have NO issues with zero crossings/clicks/pops, etc...

Try it, you can loop every 8 bars, 16 bars, 32 bars and it'll sound great!

I'll make other videos on particular difficult song that you can think are difficult to warp with only one warp maker

If it's produced with DAW's it's warpable in this way, believe me!
If it's produced with a rock band recorded live it's not warpable like this i think xD

Ah, i think the "Drift Slightly" you'll find some 1/128 1/64 changes, these are not errors in the warp but the SWING that the producer add to the track! and i think it's better to leave the swing rather than destroy it with a lot of warp marker!

Damn, i can't really get why when someone is trying to make something useful everyone is like

"oh did you know that you haven't warped it, you just set 1.1.1"
"oh did you know this work only with house track at 128 bpm"
"oh did you know this is the 100th video i see on this argument"
"oh did you know that you didn't warp this track because there the snare 1/1024 on the left off the beat"

Wtf is wrong with this world D:
