Thanks guys. Not a 'far' move Koop, but you still have to pack up your whole life. Wonderful place - peaceful and in a great wooded suburb. I also have my practice on the same property - I walk about 5 meters to work! Yup, the stand is 'wrong', but done on purpose to get the S4 and Zomo to sit on the axes. Stable as a rock.

Conventional X-stand Zane (the wrong way round). Got a T-shaped board - S4 sits on the 'long' axis, Zomo on the 'short' one.

Got some vouchers to spend at the local muso store, and considering a simple stand like this. will look into it.

Is that pics of Audrey Hepburn also?

This is exactly the sort of simplicity space I would be comfortable in

Here's a closer view Zane - works a treat. The board is attached with velcro, so the whole rig collapses. The narrow profile has also allowed me to fit into many a 'tight' booth that wasn't S4 friendly. (Method in the madness Gary). And yes that's Audrey Hepburn - IMHO the epitome of grace, style and beauty. I'm a complete minimalist Zane - I don't do clutter.
