The X1800 is not Traktor Scratch certified, so you still need the Audio 10. Although there's a rumor they're working on support for the SC5000, so maybe they'll certify the X1800 as well.

The eBay listing doesn't say whether it's MK1 or MK2 vinyl, I believe you need MK2 vinyl if you purchased Traktor Scratch after version 2.1.1.

Oh really. I was hoping to sell the Audio 10 interface. I need to connect the Denon X1800 to the Audio 10 then to my macbook?

I struggled to get my Audio 10 working with TSP (version) 2.11.0 before. Traktor could read it, but couldn't configure it correctly to get it to work with my old analogue mixer. Does this version require Mk 2 vinyl?

Ultimately I would like to be able to do this with my setup (with the timecode vinyls anyway). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7sCf...17637317573694

i think the only thing missing are the correct timecode vinyls and being able to correctly connect everything together.

    Any suggestions would be g

If your Traktor version is 2.7.0 or up, both mk1 and mk2 timecode works. Of course, mk2 seems to work better.

This sounds like user error. I'd suggest checking the manual for how to set it up.

Feel though my day has been wasted trying to get this working. I purchased this mixer thinking I would no longer need the audio 10 interface.

Although the Denon SC5000 goes with this mixer, I think for what im trying to do I should probably sell them and get the Traktor S4 or S8. To set these up shouldn't be too complicated. If I can use this mixer with Serato, maybe I can go for that instead?

How have you got it hooked up? What isn't working? If you give us some details, we might be able to help.

I've connected the output of my mixer to the audio 10 interface input 1. The audio 10 is connected to my macbook via usb where TSP is running. The speakers are connected to the audio 10.

    is this correct?

    No. Reverse it.

So I've had some little success, I can control the sound of one deck using TSP when it looks like the following.Screen Shot 2018-02-04 at 23.17.39.jpg

Sound is quite distorted. I've linked 1 turntable, 1 CDj and mixer to the audio 10 interface. I've just ordered some timecode mk2 vinyls, so can't properly test it yet. Now that I've been able to kind of connect the turntable to 'Live Input A' can I still get a beat grid for the ordinary vinyl being played on the turntable or cd in the CDJ.

any way to get rid of the distortion?
