Default First live performance, need advice?

Hey guys, did my first live performance at a local club. Roughly a thousand people, and I had the booth for half n hour. Was mostly House, electro house.

Lots of people requested dubstep but all I had was a Skrillex remix and a Ghosts'n'stuff remix on me at the time. The crowd was dancing, but what can I improve on here? I recorded the set thru Audacity so excuse the quality. Thanks

Congrats on the gig but I have to ask, do you really take requests when playing to a 1000 people?

Not really. It was my first 'big' gig i guess, but there were A LOT of people asking for some dubstep or Skrillex. So i thru in a dance remix of one of his songs, didn't want to stop the flow of the set by going in a totally different path.

Great Job overall What gear were you using?

Could you post your set list please? I'm really digging some of the tracks you used.

Get a lot more music outside of whatever genre it is you spin. A lot more.

open with a song that people know, but have a good intro that you mix up and drop it.
i like using the song "hello" with a nice intro beatmashing it delaying it and dropping it.
hooks the people and u can branch off some stuff. i like your mix dude!
