    Default Record on Virtual DJ?

So I just got my set up, 2 Stanton Str8-100s, a pair of Serato Vinyls, and Torq Conectiv.
I got really use to Virtual DJ, so thats what i wanna use as my program.
When i try to record a mix, i can hear both turntables in the recorded mix.
Has anyone had this problem? How could i fix it?
Or is their any other programs that yall would recommend?
    Thanks

What you will need to do is run an rca to jack cable from the record out of your mixer iinto the microphone in on your computer.

Then download something like audacity(free download) and record into that.
Then you should hereyour recorded mix the way you would through the speakers.

    Is that the only option?
Anyone else care to add their 2 cents?

There's nothing inherently bad about VDJ, particularly if you're using it as a DVS. Stop being a snob.

Yeah, go the route that cormac suggested.

MAKE SURE TO TURN ON STEREO MIC!!!! I cannot stress this enough. Go into your sound settings and make sure your line in is turned on for stereo.

Why? What does it do other than stop you from recording in mono?
