I use touch OSC and i have to say it is the best one I've come across. You can download an editor which allows you to customise your layout just like a mini-lemur so its pretty versatile and fun.... You'll need to download a piece of software for converting the OSC message to midi, and I recommend osculator for that as its easy to use and works very well.
Looooads of videos on youtube about this so check 'em out and see what you think...
for passing the time of day the touch mix apps are good.
especially the mobilee mix,get physical mix and the rekids mix. simple and basic to use but good samples of the tracks
I second TouchOSC and Osculator. Definately check out osculators website blog. They often feature different uses of osculator. like using your wiimote or iphone to control virtual synths. Top!
Anyone know any apps for andriod??
I like the BPMcounter. It is free, simple and functional. I use it to get a better hold of a tracks BPM before I buy it, or when I am curious about a track within a mix. It just has a tap button and a reset button. Simple.
