    Default Awful Traktor Audio clipping

I recently have been using traktor pro, and it recently just started clipping the audio of a playing track when you pause it. This happens with both the midi controller I use , hercules console rmx, and just using a laptop. I've been using traktor pro effectively for a few months without a hitch on this particular laptop which exceeds traktor pro system requirements.

I posted this on native instruments forum as well, and I have not been able to find anybody with the same problem online.

can you describe the problem a little further? I'm not sure how a track clips when it's paused.
    It's the FAQ. Read it.

No, the hercules RMX comes with an external built in. But I was trying it with the internal sound card as well. When the song gets paused in traktor, the last bit of the song that was played repeats itself over and over again, sounding like clipping.

That's CD-Mode, it's turned on. From what I understand this is the behavior of the CDJs when pressing Play.
    Try disabling it in.
EDIT: Damit, you beat me to it
