Default 1st Mobile Gig Checklist, am I missing anything?

I've only ever dj'd clubs and I'm doing a friends party this week, so far I've got sorted

    Macbook
    VCI
    Laptop Stand
    Turntables
    Audio4
    Timecodes x4
    Multicore cables
    Carts & Stylus
    Mixer
    Headphones
    USB cables
    RCA Cables
    Folding Table
    Surge Protector
    Extension Lead
    Backup records & iPod
My friend has sorted the PA and lights

Anything I could need, that I've missed?

    Cheers

Black fabric or a tablecloth big enough to cover your folding table to the ground, and tape to secure any cables that may end up tripping someone. I usually have a mic for announcements, too.

yeah and make sure to ask what kind of inputs the PA system has so you got the right connectors

Oh yeh I've forgot to list the mic, got that. Tape good call and the fabric, never really thought about that, the table I've got is black anyway..

Yeh I've checked out the PA and it's just and RCA connection into the amp, so sorted on that front

Maybe the tablecloth is extra risk? if someone steps on it and your gear falls to the ground...

hmm...Never had that problem. I just think it looks more pro to not see a bunch of cables coiled up or dangling under the table. Plus you can stash your dj bag, jacket, etc. out of sight.

Ahh yes Sharpie and note pads, no business cards as yet, but I suppose I can write on them with sharpies
