I'm just curious if anyone has any info on the laws about performing in a club if you're underage.

Setup: Kontrol S2, Komplete Audio 6, Maschine Mikro Akai LPD 8, Akai Mpk49, Traktor 2, Ableton Suite 8.

where are you from?
here in the US, you have to be at least 18 and even then most DJ's don't get hired in any sort of a club until your at least 21 unfortunately...All I have to do is play music, and make sure it is fist pumpin material.

I'm still guessin you have to be 18 to work in a club unless......*cough under the table *COUGH! =) but that's just a guess o.o

It probably depends on the manager. Worst comes to worst you'll be drinking complimentary shirley temples all night.

It depends on the province, here in Ontario you have to be 18 to work at a licensed club. Its kind of weird, I've played in bars back when i was 17, but the cops in my area don't really care anyways.

a few years ago our drinking age was raised to 20 from18, also at this time they bought in photo id's which were needed if you looked too young. i didn't have a license at the time and had a lot of trouble getting served because i look 12. its back down to 18 now. i started drinking at 12 tho lol.
