Having trouble seeing any comparison, RJ-11 is standard phone jack while RJ-45 is standard network connection (which is what the Lemur uses). Are they planning on releasing any other types of connectors?, cause most laptops these days dont even have an RJ-11 socket anymore.

Why do you need an rj45?

The ipod/ipad has bluetooth... and you can transmit midi too.

We don't believe in the star system. We want the focus to be on the music. If we have to create an image, it must be an artificial image. That combination hides our physicality and also shows our view of the star system. It is not a compromise-daftpunk

because bluetooth and wifi are both not as low latency and more importantly can fall apart more easily in a crowded high tech environment. rj-45 would be tons more reliable.

Unless a party goer who happens to have a pair of scissors and a bad streak when they have had too much tequila comes by and snips the cable.

    Hey, it happens, just sayin.

Ah, the classic 'punter with a pair of scissors' scenario.

I've lost count of the number of times that's happened to me.
