Those designs are pretty sweet bro. Imo drop the grey outline from around the text. Either that or make it exactly the same as the lines used in the design. Comment 2 is that personally I dont like that red.. personal preference I guess, seems a bit too grimey and not tech to me. You could also use the font colour somewhere in the logo.

Here are my latest changes to the 2nd round logo contest.
I'm sure I can't hit everyone's favorite color, but it should not be a big issue. With whatever background the logo is on, the colors can easily be adjusted to suit it better. The important thing is that peeps like my creation and it's easy to read. Thanks all, for the great comments and suggestions!

I Think This Font Has The Right Look/Feel For Our Site.
I'd Also Like To See Your Original 'Knobs' Concept Done With Your New Font.

With The Logo,
I Like The Head & Stylized Headset,
But I'm Not So Sure About The 'Tools'
ie The Spanner 'Tuning' The 'Ear'??? lol

After all the greats suggestions and advices...I remix all the old and latest logos based on a great combination of all logos made by Mike. I'm still working on the fonts...
