Default New Pioneer CDJ-350 and DJM-350 Introduced

    http://www.synthtopia.com/content/20...sikmesse-2010/

First thing I noticed: MIDI features, and capable as an audio interface. No scratch mode from what I can see...grr!

    Let's hear some opinions!

I retract my previous statement, they do in fact have vinyl mode, and the DJM-350 actually has a USB recording function, just plug in any type of compliant storage and it will directly push to that device.

    Very cool indeed!

Slated for a release this June

Pioneer should venture out to some more practical midi devices that take use of computer software like Vestax / Allen & Heath have done. I've only been introduced to DJ'ing when this whole digital thing has been becoming more popular, but from what I see Pioneer are behiiiiiiiind with the times.
Traktor Scratch Pro, Ableton Live 8, MacBook Pro 13'', Traktor Kontrol S4, Traktor Kontrol X1, , Midifighter, NI Audio 6 DJ, HDJ-2000 Headphones, UDG Producer Bag.

THE CDJ 350 HAS AUTO SYNC ... Take that Traktor, Itch, Torq hahahaha

Its pretty obvious that these units are made for each other.

Pioneer are expecting the CDJ-350 and DJM-350 to be used together.

It says that the CDJ has an audio device inside??? Speaking from a tracktor point of view it can only handle one audio device so the cdj isnt aimed at Traktor Scratch users.

Of course the cdj could be used in HID or Midi mode but i bet that the mixer has 2 inputs for the soundcards on these CDJs.

    Agreed.

Pioneer are not opening themselves up to compete in the digital dj market they are trying to conquer it competely with their own specific devices (CDJ2000 etc and this new stuff).

I think these will turn out to be complete flops UNLESS they are dirt cheap. Like really really cheap.

Nice little set-up. Any ideas on the price? Or is this not normally announced at the show? I would think the price should be known if they are to be out by June (production will be well underway by now).

Hey guys, the pioneer usa press release states a price of 850 $ for the cdj 350 and 750 $ for the djm 350. In euros it would be 599 and 499....way too much in my opinion...

Here are all the infos http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...er+Combination

Yeah, the price sucks my ass. Pioneer really just made a prettier version of the CDJ-400 with USB 2.0 instead of 1.1 lol
