Is it too much to ask to see how you would go about changing the tag so that certain fields with certain specified content, gets removed or changed?
Ex: I use one specific blog to get a certain genre of music, but they imprint their site within the album field. I want it out, and for many tracks at once.

Can't you select all of those songs in iTunes and then change that field?

yes, I do it with Itunes (on W7, but should be the same)

That's cool if I can do it with Itunes, but can you do batch changes...so more than 1 file at a time?

Yes, just select the songs you want to change>right click>get info. Make your changes and select ok. All of those songs will then reflect that change.

Just get Media Monkey, it will rewrite all the ID3 tags based on the file name. Very handy indeed.

Itunes doesn't change teh ID3 tag. It only makes the change in ITunes itself. Once you import the same tracks into something like Serato Scratch Live, the same data is there. I will try media monkey.
