    Default Need Help With Soundcards!

    Hey there everybody.
I have been looking through all of the new threads but can't seem to find one that i'm looking for..

The situation is that i have just pre-ordered my vci 100se. I have never had any DJ experience with gear before, but i want to work from the bottom to the top.
I don't fully understand how inputs and outputs work, so i was kind of hoping that some of you guys out there would offer out a bit of advice and a few tips on picking a soundcard.
I will use the internal soundcard in my vci 100se, i'm going to get TRKTR Pro and i already have a Micro Hi-FI System that i can use for home use.

How would i connect my HI-FI system up?
-It has Left and right LINE out
-It has left and right AUX in

I'm in need of help guys cause i'm really a newbie to all this stuff.
Thankyou everybody who contributes, I'll be sure to reply to any posts.

    NewBoy, Peace

If your using your pc's soundcard then you'll need to connect the line out / headphones out to the left and right AUX in. Im assuming your aux ports on your hi-fi are phono (Red and white round connectors). If so, you need a 3.5mm jack to phono cable. These can be picked up pretty cheaply just about anywhere.
