Default New controller: Gemini CTRL SIX

Fairly limited information on this little guy, but many sources say it has an integrated sound card in it, etc.

Personally I don't like Gemini quality, but I give any controller a fair look before drawing any conclusions. Didn't see it mentioned anywhere, so figured I would post it here in case anyone would find an interest in it

mixer section looks a bit like a nuo 2, if only because it's so skinny. my guess is that it'll end up in the stack of other mediocre all-in-one units that aren't good for much anything serious

Those jogs look very shinny. Shinny usually means not very grippy.

I dunno, i kinda like it. It looks like a baby VMS4 .

Its Gemini so you know the standard, its gonna be ok but not terrible.
If its got a built in card and is cheap it could give the Hercules a run out.

Some of those rubberized knobs look suspiciously like X1 knobs..?

Why did they feel the nee to put arrows showing the direction of the track around the jog wheels. Isnt that pretty obvious.
    Gotta be aimed at newcomers.

    Judgment reserved.

    EDIT:

Dolphin has it at £ 279.00 and it does have an internal soundcard.

saw those arrows too, and when I did - I lol'd

overall, I would pick this over a Hercules most likely if that was the type of controller I was looking for. The knobs look like a mixture of X1 knobs and Ecler knobs.

like most controllers on the market, I imagine this one lacks in pitch control accuracy, given its short length and what I would assume is sending out regular ol' MIDI signal. if the top of those jog dials is metal though, that's a nice touch.

Yeah the more i look at this the more i like it. I like the layout.
Looks like it would be ok for beginners. And coming in at £100 less than the VCI including Soundcard, it do well.

It all hangs on the quality of that soundcard. If its crap, its all over.

heared some rumours about this one too. Should be fairly nice to bring about.
(Though I hate the Pioneer ripoff jogs)
