akai mpd24 usb?

hey guys just wondering if anyone knows what kind of usb interface the akai mpd24 uses? 2.0? 1.1 or 1.0? couldn't find the info anywhere on the site or the box so if anyone can shed light i'd be grateful thanks.

At a guess, USB 1.1.

Nobody has made any USB1.0 devices for 10 years now, and USB2.0 is primarily aimed at bulk transfers of data and there's not much latency advantage in using it compared to the complexity and cost of implementation.

But 2.0 and 1.1 are backwards compatible. If you have a 2.0 usb slot, a 1.1 usb device will work as it is supposed to
