Default Found a possible fix to windows 7 crack pops / DPC issue

So after using the DPC latency tool to narrow down my crack/pops/cutouts of audio from my audio2dj, I narrowed it down to the wifi card. Disabling wifi isn't practical so i found an alternative, wlan optimizer. It's a free tool that disables wireless background scans that can cause lag. After running it i'm only getting a red spike every hour or so and it hasn't effected my audio. I disable wifi for gigs, but at home I would like to be able to have wifi during dj'ing.

yeah I actually use wifi a lot during mobile gigs, when ever someone requests a song i don't have I can usually pull it up online and play it, i've done it with serato on my macbook many times with out any lag / dropouts.

interesting.. i also found this.. it might help tracking down processes/services that are causing latency issues.
