Yeah man that looks awesome, I'm very interested in how hes doing it, something to do with an encoded vinyl (ala Serato) I think and piping the info into ableton.

The guy who did that helped create an ableton live API so no doubt he has fancy tricks by the plenty he used to get it working.

Heres hoping for a public release!!

Whoa nice that sum crazy stuff right there, scratching really is not my thing but id certainly love looking into this some more.

I found the original forum thread here, it is slightly more detailed than the download page:

I will be keeping a keen eye on this one, thanks for posting about it

    Neat !

I used the built in timecode generator to make a wav file of timecode, then loaded this up in one of my decks in Traktor. Because i am routing the audio from Traktor to Ableton i was able to play this timecode into the Reaktor to control the deck using my Vci-100

Its pretty cool actually, though i was hoping i could record a section of audio already playing then start messing with it but this is not possible in this version. Despite the fact you cant use the audio your manipulating live then scratch with it, this is pretty damn cool. There might be some work around, i will keep looking into it

This is gonna be huge! However, for all of us out there w/ no turntables there must be a way to get this going "a la Moldover" (ie scratching via midi control, specifically my SL). Correct me if I'm wrong but is this not what Bento is on to w/ his vci? Someone please enlighten me.

    Cheers
