OT: Tattoo Thread

I just had a session on my eventual sleeve about 2 weeks ago, hence the redness. I just got the flowers... my mom, sis, and grandma's birth flowers.

Next session is a piece on my triceps and some filler.




All the black/grey work is more recent. The other random shit is from my younger days. My arm will be 100% covered once complete. I'm finishing the 3/4 sleeve completely, then on to figure out what I want below the elbow.

My elbow has been been my LEAST favorite place to be tattooed so far!! I have some family representation in flowers too. These pics are prior to going 3/4 sleeve with the DJ piece. I was really pleased at how the dry brush stroke watercolor look came out.

Honestly, the elbow wasn't too bad or the inner bicep.

The WORST was mum the inside of my elbow. It has crazy detail. I was dyinggggg. I'm pretty good with pain, but for some reason that spot really fucked with me.

I can't wait to get in the chair again and start tying everything together.

Arm one looks much better now, all the really bloody spots are UV ink so it glows in the dark haha

Had it for a few years now.

It was done in tradditional Thai style with Chopsticks with tattoo needles on the end. Took 36hrs alltogether.

The flame lilly is the national flower of Zimbabwe,
the dragon is actually the "Nyaminyami", the god of the Zambezi River.
all the colours represant the Zim flag
I grew up on the Zambezi river which all the water represents.
My dad also died on the river, so a tribute to him to.

Thanks I got this a few days ago. Still have to go in a just darken things up, add some value and texture to more pieces. Helmet will be darker to make skull pop more, the handles of the swords need more texture, etc. Since this is all line work it was a hell fest to get tatted.

I also got this done at the same time. An Mc Escher angels and demons tattoo. Also a work in progress, demon will be darker, but did this with stipuling instead of etching hatch work like the above.

Did both all in 5 days straight. I'll never do that again!
