    Default OT: Gorillaz

In my opinion. Ground breaking music from a band which are at the for front of how music is delivered to its audience. Absolutely love everything they are about and have done since the debut album.

You may know they are touring and tickets go on sale tomorrow for there gigs at the 02 in the uk . My question is do I go on the 1st night or 2nd night

    thankyou please!

+1 on all you have said, awesome band with some major contributors.
I haven't got the new album yet but will be getting it.
I'd have to go 2nd night, hopefully having worked all the bugs out by then?

New album is average at best. Not one stand-out track. Boring selfish production. Not fun like Dare or Feel Good Inc.

I agree. I love the first two albums, but the new one just bored me to death with its monotonous buzzing synths and songs that don't have any memorable note in it.

That said, I would LOVE to see them live, since I saw a clip of their show on TV once. (And of course because the first two Albums belong to the finest pieces of music that the last decade brought out.)

Cheers for the posts guys. I would defo recommend the new album. Quiet different to Demon Days but easily as good. Loads of stand out tracks for me. The Little dragon collabs are awesome. Damon Alban is obviously well respected within the industry and rightly so.

I still can't decide on which gig to go to tho?

We don't believe in the star system. We want the focus to be on the music. If we have to create an image, it must be an artificial image. That combination hides our physicality and also shows our view of the star system. It is not a compromise-daftpunk

some mong that doesn't like the idea of the vids being plastered all over the net, being shared with more people and so getting more views and exposure.
