    Default Green Hotcue on Kontrol X1

    I was messing around on my kontrol x1 today and i held the hotcue button and then held the shift button and my hotcue button turned green? what does that mean or do

    and when im in hotcue mode and im messing around with cue points can i play the cuepoint? if im clicking cue 1 but wanna continue the song without changing modes

    It means you've turned on midi mode

    yeah shitf + hotcue turns on midi mode. Native mode = standard settings. Midi mode = a second layer of possible functions. So you can map a whole bunch of shit in midi mode on top of your native(standard) mode. I have a super knob, I've seen some mappings where midi mode is decks c and d.

    Yea how do you map midi mode tho becaause I tryed mapping knobs and nothing changed....

    I. Wanna get decks c & d control juss to see how it feels but I deff wanna map

    Dry / wet knob to volume fader and the other 3 knobs for eq
