I use a Moshi skin for my MacBook Pro, it doesn't interfere with the tactile response, over time the heat rising through the spacings on the keyboard sort of "heat shrink" it into place. Somewhat pricy for what it is, and worth it in my opinion.

Yup used the same one on my iBook back in the day.
I found that they got pretty dirty quickly and picked up a lot of dust but its better than getting droplets of beer or sweat in the keys.

All in all a good idea.

Yeah I do, Freshman year I woke up to a nice pile of vomit on the keyboard of my lappy, so since then I have sported the cover, and it has saved me from a few beer spills

The thing I don't like about them is that they block the best heat radiation exaust on the lappy. We all know that modern laptops can get HOT, and the space in the keys is an intentional escape path for it.

That said, if you don't have a heat problem then they are great!

Yeahhh I wasn't so happy to wake up to that haha

And about the over heating, I noticed that this did prevent my laptop from cooling properly so I purchased a cheap cooling system and haven't ever had a problem, even after two years . Covers are definitely the way to go

Yeah, I would recommend one of those exhaust fan pads if your going to use one of these.
