Default 4 Strings - Take Me Away Dubstep Remix

I freely admit that I secretly enjoy cheeseball music, and cheesy old-school progressive trance is no exception.

This song reminds me so much of high school, and I was super excited when I found an acapella of it.

I think the whole thing turned out to be almost chilling. This is also my first successful attempt at using vocals that aren't rap.

    Feedback welcome!

Haha, well cheeseball music remixed can lead to some good results.
This is a good short one... However, I feel like the bass is wobbling too fast for the rest of the tune... feels like there should be a slower, maybe even lower, bass line present (like 1/4 the speed?) instead or at least running underneath the faster one... sounds great otherwise, just my 2 cents.

Glad to hear you like what I do! I've tried making heavier, dirtier tunes, and they just never are as good as my chill ones for some reason.

Wow! Thanks for the support. It's cool to hear someone actually mixed one of my songs! Thanks!

Thanks man! The getting the bass at a speed that felt right was probably the most difficult part of producing this remix. I tried using bass that was a lot slower, and it kind of sounded almost like grime, which is definitely not what I was shooting for with this remix.

    Thanks for your feedback though!
