Will changed tags in iTunes appear in Traktor?

The questions never seem to end with Traktor and iTunes. I was wondering if I were to update the tag of a song in iTunes (say change genre from dance to electro) will that update be made in my Traktor track collection?

When you drag that song to a deck it will change. You can also check the consistency on a batch of songs in Traktor and it will change. I have the option to check consistency on start up enabled in preferences so all of that is handled with no effort from me.
