    Serato and Ableton announce a creative partnership..

    What do you think? Fx program for use with Itch and SSL?

    I reckon it will just be the ability to sync the programs together, and probably pipe audio from Serato to Ableton.

    That will be awesome for users of both Serato & Ableton, but I think about 90% of the people on the tubes seem to have much greater expectations

    I rekon thats all it will be.... for now. There may be plans to do something greater in the long term. Ie physical control (vinyl/cdj) over Ableton clips.... that would be fucking GODLIKE. Its atm the only downside about ableton is that there is no ability to maipulate clips, as well as loop segments on the fly (like traktor).

    If ableton had this it would rape traktor for breakfast for me personally.

    +1 on ableton clips with more control and on the fly looping controls
    i still love me some ableton, just takes a little more prep time

    ableton will never rape traktor overall.
    its apples and oranges. 2 different programs with 2 different applications.

    I know. I just ment for ME it would rape Traktor. I just want the on the fly clip/looping controls cos not having it makes ableton a bit more of a bitch. Like said. Way more prep time and less ability for on the flyness, which is what I love.
